2013-2014 team was hit hard by graduation and beset by injuries. The team grew and improved as the season progressed. Younger wrestlers gained valuable experience as the season unfolded and many took advantage of their opportunity. As the calendar turned to January, the team took off. The second half of the season saw the Brothers close with a 15-2 record to finish the season at 20-7. The wrestlers also repeated as Region Dual champions and won the inaugural West Region Individual Tournament. At the State Duals, the Brothers came up short in their effort to three-peat, losing in the quarterfinals to McCallie, but showed a great deal of grit in rallying to take 3rd at the state duals by knocking off McCallie 34-31. At the State Individual Tournament the wrestlers place 5th with Elijah Oliver (120) and DJ Palmore (285) winning state championships. Other placers included: Bailey Wittman (152) and Dallas Broughton (160) 3rd place, Tanner Tidswell (113), Paul Posey (145), Aaron Davis (170) and Jeremy Brandon (220) place 4th and Trevor Brown (126) placed 5th.
