The 2011-2012 wrestling season was one for the ages. The Brothers finished the season with a 26-1 record and a #1 ranking in the final Tennessee Coaches Poll and a final ranking of #47 in the nation. During the regular season, the team placed first at the Black Horse Invitational, the Cleveland Duals, the Gateway to the Best Duals and the GP West/Bruin Invitational. The wrestlers also competed in two top 30 nationally ranked tournaments, finishing 6th at the Kansas City Classic and 2nd at the Granite City, IL Holiday tournament. Regular season highlights included wins over then #1 ranked in Tennessee Soddy-Daisy 34-27 and previously #30 ranked in the nation Blue Springs, MO 35-18.
