The 2007-2008 CBHS Wrestling team had its best season since 1985, finishing 3rd in the State Duals and Third in the State Individuals. The team, led by seniors George Harmon, Ben Duffel, Johnny Vo, David Crislip, Peter Bonilla, Kyle Hefferman, Johnny Holliday, Austin Wiggins and Billy Sanvidge, crashed through almost every team that stood in their way. George Harmon (152 lbs.) became the school’s 11th state champion, defeating Colton Popp of Baylor in the finals, 8-4. Blake Hataway (103) placed second, Daniel Baucke (112), Zach Johnson (130), Zach Hanniford (135) and Billy Sanvidge (160) placed third, David Crislip (140) and Johnny Holliday (189) placed fourth and Mick Anthony (119), Alex Johnson (125) and Ben Duffel (285) placed 6th. The wrestlers finished the season with a 28-3 record and was ranked 5th in the state in the final Coaches Poll.
