The 2005-2006 wrestling team had an outstanding season. The team set a school record with 33 wins. The team also traveled to Hawaii and placed 4th in the Iolani Invitational tournament, competing against top teams in Hawaii, New York, California, Oregon and Washington. The team finished 5th in the state tournament, won its seventh straight region championship, and finished 12th in the final state wide Coaches Poll. Individually we had 8 state medalists. William Alsobrook (103) and Darius Williams (152) were state runner ups, Josh Baucke (145) and Johnny Holliday (160) finished 3rd, John Lyons (275) 4th, Michael Jennings (140) and Clay Robertson (215) 5th and J.P. Carney (112) 6th.
