The 1983-84 team won the Red Knight, Whites Creek and Raleigh-Egypt Invitationals as well as capturing District and Region championships. In the State Tournament the Brothers placed 3rd over all. Chris Marable (145 lbs.) became the school's fourth State Champion. Anthony Moretta (105 lbs.) placed second and Russell George (119 lbs.) placed third. Being named to the Commercial Appeal All-Sheby Metro Team were: Russell George (119 lbs.), Troy Robertson (126 lbs.), 138 Les McCutchen (138 lbs) and Chris Marable (145 lbs.)
