The 1982-83 season brought a new head coach, Armand Aaron, and another Regional Championship. At the State Championships, Anthony Moretta (98 lbs.) became the schools 3rd state champion by reversing and cradling Joey Carmichael of McGavock in the last 15 seconds of the match to win 5-4. Jeff Presley (138 lbs.) placed third in the State as the Brothers finished as a team in 7th place.
