Barry Flynn (185 lbs)would return to the state tournament in 1976-1977, along with one of the first stars of Christian Brothers wrestling, Brian O'Donnell, the Commercial Appeals Newcomer of the Year. Lawson Glenn (126 lbs.) made the All-Metro team and finished the season with a 25-2 record.
